Please join us during February school vacation, when the Chewonki Foundation will be presenting Tide Pools.

Maine has some of the most dramatic tidal changes in the US, making for impressive changes to the coastal landscape two times every day. Come learn about how species adapt to maintain stability in a world that is in a constant state of change. 

Using this interactive traveling display, participants will dip their hands into the three zones of Maine’s rocky intertidal ecosystem and touch some of the ocean’s most magnificent species.

Chewonki’s “learning through nature” programs are great for all ages.
